STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (11/16/2025) - Franklin Pierce women's basketball fell to Holy Family University in their second and final game of the Conference Challenge Tournament at the College of Staten Island, 73-45.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Holy Family established control early, despite the opening layup of the game being scored by Laia Llorente. With consistent rebounds on both ends of the court for the Tigers, they were able to take the lead. Franklin Pierce struggled to match their pace, despite key baskets from the Ravens. The Tigers held the lead 20-8 after the opening frame.
- In the second quarter, the Tigers continued to pull away, with a number of second-chance points against the Ravens' defensive pressure. Franklin Pierce generated offense from the bench, but could not string together consistent possessions. The Tigers led the Ravens 34-18 at the half.
- Coming out of halftime, the Ravens found more offensive flow, with Liv Murray contributing a third of the Ravens' points in the quarter. Holy Family remained efficient as the Tigers added 19 more points, extending the lead to 53-30.
- The Ravens continued to balance in the fourth quarter, getting to the free-throw line and finding multiple opportunities through Emily Mennillo. Despite their persistence, the Tigers' balanced scoring and control kept the margin in their favor. Holy Family closed the game out with a 20-15 quarter to secure the 73-45 win.
