Hopkinton, N.H. (10/10/2025) - The men's and women's cross country teams took on the Hopkinton Cross Country Festival as they look towards the Northeast 10 Championship at the end of the month. The women competed on the 5-kilometer course, while the men raced 8-kilometers.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The women's team finished in 9th place out of 12 qualifying for the team results. Freshman Melany Walker, who has had consistently strong races for the Ravens finished 43rd overall, crossing the line at 21:53.55. Following her for the ravens was Rachel Leblanc and Jennifer Kulick, who finished neck and neck with times of 24:10.16 and 24:10.61, respectively. Next to cross was sophomore Lauren Muldoon, with a time of 24:36.76. Lillian Byrne rounded out the women's team with a time of 28:52.22.
The men's team had a strong showing, finishing third overall. Sam Fortin, who has been a reliable runner all season, posted a time of 25:50.55, placing him at 6th place overall. Gunner Currier and Liam Doherty were not far behind him, posting times of 25:54.27 and 25:55.73. John Viens finished fourth for Pierce, crossing the line at 26:41.96. Evan Spence was the final Raven contribution to their team placement, with a time of 26:52.92.
UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The men's and women's cross country teams will travel north next week for the UVM Fall Foliage Invitational. The meet in St. Albans, V.T. will take place on Sunday, October 19th.
