HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Franklin Pierce jumped out to an early lead, scoring by a jumper from Ja'Keese Kemp (Lakeland, Fl) and a layup from Donte Pope (Middletown, CT). The Greyhounds quickly overtook that lead with key shots from Tayeshawn Cunningham-Pemberton. That lead was extended by Jamal Barnes' 3-pointer. The Ravens struggle to have quick answers as they would fall behind by multiple possessions. Cunningham-Pemberton had 13 points heading into the half.
- The Ravens continued to claw their way into the game with big shots from Pope, as he tallied 21 points in the second half alone. Though, the Greyhounds kept pushing away the Ravens with Daouda Dembele coming alive late. Despite late points from Kemp and Pope, the Greyhounds kept answering and Ravens ran out of time, falling 94-88.
