 HOW IT HAPPENED:
Game 1:
- The Greyhounds opened the scoring in the bottom of the 1st inning. Kaitlyn Cahill ripped a triple through the right side to give them the 1-0 lead. Then, Grace Heim smacked an RBI single to left field to put the Greyhounds in front 2-0 after 1.
- The Greyhounds continued to rake in the bottom of the 2nd. Lauren Geremia singled to left field and Kaitlyn Cahill scored on a fielder's choice to give them a comfortable 4-0 lead. Grace Heim then also scored on a fielder's choice bringing in 2 runs to put the Greyhounds ahead 6-0 after 2 innings.
- The Ravens broke through in the top of the 3rd inning. Charlit Hartenstein (Massapequa, N.Y.) started the inning off with a single to left center field. Then, Savannah Arreguin (Pacoima, Calif.) reached base on catcher's interference, moving Hartenstein to second. After back-to-back outs, Hailey Bigwood (Athol, Mass.) stepped up to the plate and she delivered, smoking a single through the left side, scoring Hartenstein and cutting the deficit to 6-1.
- The Ravens showed signs of life in the top of the 7th inning. Hailey Bigwood added another hit with a powerful triple to left center field. Ashley Cangiano (North Attleboro, Mass.) followed that up with a towering 2-run homer to left center field, cutting the Greyhounds leas to 6-3. The Ravens couldn't complete the miracle comeback and fell short to Assumption, 6-3 in the first game of the twin bill.

- The Greyhounds added on to their lead in the bottom of the 3rd inning as Kaitlyn Cahill clobbered a solo homer, putting them in front 2-0.
- The Ravens bats went quiet in game 2, getting shutout by the Greyhounds who recorded the sweep in conference play.
