A few minutes later, the Ravens would be sure to respond. Todd Branish (Littleton, Colo.) took a shot on net from right inside the blue line. John Sterling (Centreville, Pa.) grabbed the rebound and took it around the back of the net to score from the other side to tie the game at 1-1.

Once again, the Greyhounds got to work quickly on the scoring end. Jake Lavoie made it look like he was setting up a pass to John Woernle but took it himself to send the puck past Raven's goaltender Jeffrey Reda (Larchmont, N.Y.) to take a 3-1 lead.

The Ravens added a score with only seconds remaining in the game. Mario Paganini (Harrison, N.Y.) won the puck from the Greyhounds and sent it towards Phillip Parker (Medfield, Mass.) who would shoot and score.
