RINDGE, N.H. (10/8/24) - The Franklin Pierce volleyball team was swept by American Internation 3-0 in their seventh consecutive defeat.

The Yellowjackets started the match with a hot start, getting a 13-7 lead early in the first set. The Ravens however clawed back in the set, bringing the score within two points. A combined effort from junior setter Annaka Lindstrom (Dudley, MA), junior middle-blocker Martina Spackova (Bratislava, Slovakia), and junior outside hitter Katholiki Koukia (Rhodes, Greece) brought the score to 17-15. However, the Yellowjackets would pull away and win the first set.

The third set became the final set as the Yellowjackets took command, jumping out to a 16-7 lead. From there the Yellowjackets would not look back, completing the sweep and winning their fifth straight match. The Ravens drop their seventh straight with the loss.
