(10/26/24) - The No. 25 nationally ranked Franklin Pierce women's soccer team clinched NE10 playoffs as they defeated the visiting Owls of Southern Connecticut State University, Saturday afternoon. Before the securing of the win, the Ravens honored their graduating seniors as well as graduate students: midfielder Annika Furtado (Dartmouth, Mass.), forward Erin Keyt (Melbourne, Austrailia), goalkeeper Emilie Fox (Bridgewater, Mass.) and defender Aino Martikainen (Jarvenpaa, Finland).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The first half would remain score as both team would exchange offensive opportunities. Both goalkeepers would face limited shots as the ball remained mostly in the middle of the field.
- With 10 minutes to go in the game, Jenna Delgado (Gilroy, Calif.) would find Jenni Huttunen (Suomi, Finland) out wide. Huttunen would cross it through the middle of the box right to the foot of Olivia Crespo (Ludlow, Mass.) who would smash it comfortably into the net to give the Ravens the 1-0 lead.
INSIDE THE LINES:
- Fox would make 5 saves in net.
- The Ravens would outshoot the Owls 12-9.
- The Ravens had 9 corner kicks to the Owls' 3.
