Winchendon, Mass. (1/5/2024) -- After a thrilling 3-2 win on the road against Dartmouth two nights ago, the Ravens didn't skip a beat securing their second straight win versus Saint Michaels Friday night and their first home win of the new year.

The Ravens scored the first goal late in the first period when Anna Caumo (Brunico, Italy) glided past Purple Knight goaltender Annika Lavender and finished it making it 1-0.

The Ravens got the second goal less than a minute later when Jenna Ruiz (Webster, Wis.) got infront of the goal and with chaos in front of Lavender was able to notch the second goal making it 2-0.

Scoring would be on pause until the third period when after blocking a shot, Caumo set up Memphis Mertens (Roseau, Minn.) on a beautiful slot pass with Mertens one-timer besting Lavender for the Ravens third goal of the game.

The Purple Knights were able to get on the board after Emilie Prive (Morrisville, VT) got sent off with a five-minute major. Maddie Quinn on the power play was able to score it pass Jill Hertl (Highland Park, Ill.) making it 3-1.
