dropping a 3-0 decision to Westfield State in non-conference play
at Amelia Park. Senior goaltender Ben Siok (Holden,

forward Lucas Romero provided the assists.
Westfield State picked up a pair of
insurance markers on the power play in the middle of the third
period, just 46 seconds apart, to create the 3-0 final. First, at
the 8:40 mark, sophomore forward Taylor Murphy put away his fourth
of the season off assists from sophomore forward Vince Perreault
and senior forward Pat Nelson. At the 9:26 mark, it was Gebert and
sophomore defenseman Billy Miller with the helpers on freshman
forward Steve Evans' team-leading 11th goal of the campaign.
