Demoner tallies goal and assist to lead Ravens to eighth-straight win

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (October 4, 2006) - Franklin Pierce, ranked 15th in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/adidas Division II poll, came back from a goal down early to post a 2-1 victory over Le Moyne College in Northeast-10 Conference women's soccer action at the Thomas J. Junior midfielder Gabriela Demoner (Curitiba, Brazil) played a role in both Franklin Pierce goals to lift the Ravens to their eighth-straight victory with a goal and assist.

Franklin Pierce equalized in the 32nd minute when Demoner connected with junior Jenna Giardina (Pittsfield, Mass./Taconic) for her fourth goal of the season (all in the last five matches). Demoner put the Ravens ahead in the 66th minute when she drilled in a free kick from the top of the arc.
