The Franklin Pierce University Women's field hockey team closed out
the regular season with a 3-1 non-conference victory over Saint
Joseph's College this afternoon. Freshman April Demers (Gorham, N.H./Gorham)
netted her first collegiate goal, as she scored on a pass from
teammate Chrystean Page (Turner,

of the first half.
Stephanie Bradley (Warrington,

two games, as she converted a pass from Debbie Jones (Escondido,
Calif./Bishops) at 17:59, to give the Ravens the two goal
lead at the end of the first half.
Page made the score 3-0 when she took a feed from Stephanie Foster (South Windsor, Conn./South
Windsor) and slipped the ball past netminder, Laura
Lombardi, at the 9:12 mark of the second half. Saint Joseph's Lisa
Hamm spoiled the shutout with 30 seconds left to go in the game, as
she knocked a shot past Irene Smith to make the final -- FP 3,
Saint Joseph's 1.

the Ravens, and Smith made five stops in 35 minutes in net.
