RINDGE, N.H. (Oct. 11, 2001) - The
Franklin Pierce University women's volleyball team notched their
third straight victory with 3-0 win over Rivier College this
evening.
Junior Mandy Johnson (Orange,
Mass./Maher Regional) recorded 19 kills, 10 digs, and posted
an outstanding .731 kill percentage to lead the Ravens. Classmate
Catrina Cuevas (Puyallup,
Wash./J.J. O'Neill N.Y.) tallied 12 assists, seven digs, and
served five aces. Sophomore setter Bethany Findley (Clinton, Conn./Morgan
School) added 24 assists in the win.
Rivier's Meghan Ginty led the Raiders' offense with six kills,
while Kristen Hoffman chipped in 11 assists. Sophomore Lindsey
Heenan totaled 12 digs.
The Ravens (7-5, 3-5 NE-10) next head to Le Moyne College for a
Northeast-10 tri-match with UMass Lowell at 1 p.m. The Ravens
return home on Friday, Oct. 19 when they face Saint Michael's
College in the FP Fieldhouse at 7 p.m.
