Stan Jurkoic finished his 13th yearas the top assistant coach, and his third season as Associate HeadCoach, of the Franklin Pierce baseball team in 2011. Jurkoic joinedthe Ravens for Jayson King's inaugural season as head coach,bringing along a rich baseball background.

Jurkoic assists with game-day preparation as well as in-gamedecision making. He also serves as the team's first base coachduring games and is the assistant director of Franklin Piercebaseball summer camps and clinics.

In Jurkoic's time in Rindge theRavens have captured four NCAA Championship Regional titles, fourNortheast-10 Conference Championships (including each of the lastthree), three Northeast-10 Conference regular season titles (plus aMarkey Division championship in 2003) and have hosted an NCAAChampionship Regional at Dr. Arthur and Martha Pappas Field in eachof the last five seasons.

Jurkoic's coaching career includes stints as an assistant coach atthe University of Massachusetts, as well as with the Keene SwampBats of the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL). He hasalso served as head coach for the Keene Blue Jays of the NorthernLeague.

Jurkoic, a native of North Walpole, was a former captain at theUniversity of New Hampshire. A pitcher and infielder, he wasselected to play in the prestigious New England All-Star game hissenior year.

Jurkoic earned his master's degree in sports management fromUniversity of Massachusetts and currently resides in Keene.
