Pat Dunn wrapped up his firstseason as an Assistant Coach with the Franklin Pierce Universitymen's ice hockey team in 2013-14. He assists Head CoachJaymie Harrington with all aspects of the program includingrecruiting, fundraising, scouting, training, game day operations,and primarily works with the Ravens goaltenders.
Before making his debut as acollegiate coach with the Ravens, Dunn wrapped up a four-yearcollege career which included two years as a netminder at FranklinPierce. His senior season of 2012-13 was arguably the best of hiscollege career, as he logged over 600 minutes and, despite a 2-7-2record, posted a 3.84 goals-against average and an .890 savepercentage while playing approximately 40% of the team's minutes.At the end of his career, his 2012-13 goals-against average andsave percentage numbers ranked third in their respecitve categoriesamong the program's single-season records.
Prior to two seasons at FranklinPierce, Dunn spent the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons at UticaCollege, where he made five appearances over two years for thePioneers. In all, Dunn made 24 collegiate appearances, including 18starts, and logged 1143:05 in net, 946:58 of which came for theRavens. He collected a 2-12-4 record with one shutout, a 3.99goals-against average and an .880 save percentage for hiscareer.
It has become a family affair atFranklin Pierce for Dunn and his siblings. His brothers, Sean(bio) and James (bio) are both members of the ice hockey team,the former a senior forward and the latter a sophomore goaltender.Meanwhile, the trio's sister, Siobhan, also attends theUniversity.
Originally from Quincy, Mass., Dunnis continuing to pursue his undergraduate degree at FranklinPierce.
