Jackson Brown joins the Franklin Pierce University men’s basketball program as a graduate assistant coach for the 2025 season.
Brown brings a diverse playing and coaching background to Rindge. A former collegiate basketball student-athlete, he competed at four programs, including UAlbany, SUNY Fredonia, Russell Sage College, and Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. During his time at Russell Sage, he served as a team captain in 2023–24, earned selection to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, and was recognized on the NABC Honors Court. He was also active as a Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative.
On the sidelines, Brown gained coaching experience as an assistant and intern with the women’s basketball program at The College of Saint Rose, where he contributed to film breakdown, opponent scouting, budgeting, practice planning, and gameday operations. He has also coached with Elevate (Impact Athletic Center), an AAU basketball club in Clifton Park, N.Y., delivering individualized skill training and age-appropriate development programs.
A native of Latham, N.Y., Brown graduated from Russell Sage College in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports and Recreation Management.
