David Maddock

David Maddock is in his thirdseason as an assistant coach with the Franklin Pierce Universitymen's soccer team. He assists head coach Craig Stewart with theteam's goalkeepers, team preperation, strength and conditioning andwill also serve as an academic advisor to the program.

Maddock is a product of theNewcastle United Football Club youth system and played goalkeeperat the city and county level in England up to the age of 18. Priorto Franklin Pierce, he served as a goalkeeper and conditioningcoach for the Bayside club teams in Rhode Island. Maddock brings awealth of soccer camp coaching experience with him to Rindge.

A 2002 graduate of NorthumbriaUniversity, Maddock collected his bachelors degree in financialservices. From there, he spent three years in the investmentmanagement industry, including time as a Qualified InvestentAdvisor for one of the United Kingdom's leading wealth managementcompanies.

In 2006, Maddock received hispost-graduate certificate in education from the University ofSunderland. As such, he is a qualified business teacher in theUnited Kingdom and brings three years of teaching and high schoolcoaching experience to the Ravens. He is currently pursuing hismasters degree in education at Franklin Pierce, with a focus oncurriculum and instruction.
