Anthony Soza serves as a Defensive Assistant, working with Inside Linebackers and coordinating Special Teams for the Franklin Pierce University football program.
Soza joined the Ravens after gaining experience at both the junior college and high school levels. Most recently, he served as Defensive Coordinator, Linebackers Coach, and Recruiting Coordinator at Salt River Junior College in Arizona, where he implemented multiple defensive schemes and oversaw all aspects of the program’s recruiting efforts across the Southwest. Prior to that, he coached at Desert Vista High School (Ariz.) from 2022–24, holding roles as Assistant Defensive Coordinator, Linebackers Coach, and Special Teams Coordinator. Under his leadership, the linebacker unit consistently ranked among the team’s top producers, while his special teams units blocked multiple punts and scored several touchdowns.
In addition to his defensive work, Soza also coached running backs at Desert Vista in 2022, guiding a group that rushed for over 1,000 yards without recording a fumble. His coaching tenure has also been marked by strong recruiting success, helping multiple student-athletes earn opportunities at the NCAA Division I, II, and III levels.
A native of Arizona, Soza earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University in 2024.
