NORTH ATTLEBORO, Mass. (6/19/26) - Franklin Pierce University women's golfer Lorelai Flanagan has been named the Northeast 10 Conference Women's Golf Sport Excellence Award recipient, as announced by the conference office on Friday.
The Sport Excellence Awards recognize the top student-athlete in each of the NE10's spring championship sports for excellence in both academics and athletics. Among the student-athletes selected to the 2026 Academic All-Conference teams, one individual from each spring sport is chosen to receive the league's highest academic-athletic honor. Five different institutions were represented among this year's recipients, with Adelphi and Bentley earning multiple awards.
Flanagan adds the honor to an outstanding senior season both on the course and in the classroom. A First Team All-Conference selection, she earned a spot on the NE10 All-Championship Team after finishing second individually at the conference championship. She captured individual titles in three tournaments during the 2025-26 campaign, recorded five top-three finishes, averaged 79.3 strokes across 12 rounds, and finished the season ranked 69th in the East Region.
Academically, Flanagan graduated summa cum laude with a 3.87 cumulative GPA as a Health Sciences major with a minor in Nutrition and a certificate in Exercise Physiology. She posted a 4.0 GPA during both the fall and spring semesters and graduated with High Honors in the Health Sciences Department.
Throughout her career, Flanagan earned NE10 Rookie of the Year honors, helped lead the Ravens to two NE10 Championship titles, earned two First Team All-Conference selections and two Second Team All-Conference selections, and appeared in three NCAA East Regional Championships. She was also a member of the 2024-25 NE10 Academic All-Conference Team.
To be eligible for NE10 Academic All-Conference and Sport Excellence Award consideration, student-athletes must earn All-Conference honors in their sport, maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30, and complete at least two consecutive full-time semesters at their institution.
