Avendano Contributes Four Goals in Ravens Win over Daemen

Rindge, N.H. (9/17/2025) - The Ravens dominated the Daemen University Wildcats 6-1, to pick up their first home win of the season. Franklin Pierce started with high energy, scoring in the first three minutes and never let up on the Wildcats. Guillermo Avendano contributed four of the Ravens' six goals.

HOW IT HAPPENED

  • In the second minute of the game, Avendano found the bottom right corner of the net off of an assist from Guillermo Rios to start the Ravens offensive action. 
  • After Miguel D'Amico carried the ball up the sideline, he sent a long ball to Joao Araujo, who found the net from the left side of the box, putting the Ravens ahead 2-0.
  • In the 18th minute, after Manuel Lorenzo crossed the ball just in front of the net, Avendano struck again on the Wildcats, closing out the first half scoring. 
  • After a long break in scoring action, Jonty Clarke sent the ball up the sideline to JJ Forskin in the corner, who found Avendano in the box once again, tapping the ball in. 
  • Avendano finished off his four-goal game just five minutes later off a pass from Rios, which he received and shot high to the center of the net. 
  • The Ravens capped off the scoring spree in the 85th minute of the game, never letting up on the Wildcats. Clarke took a defender 1v1 on the sideline and crossed the ball Rios, who touched it up to Rui Costa to finish the play. 
  • The Wildcats had three scoring opportunities throughout the game, capitalizing on one in the 88th minute. Stevie Varallo ran onto a long ball from Alex Lozoya, sending it high from 20 yards out and finding the back of the net. 

BREAKING DOWN THE NUMBERS

  • Guillermo Avendano led the Ravens with 4 four goals on 7 shots.
