Ravens Gear Up for Final Round After Steady Showing on Day Two

ALLENDALE, Mich. (5/7/25) - The Franklin Pierce women's golf team were back in action in NCAA East Regional play this morning at The Meadows Golf Course, hosted by Grand Valley State. After the second round, the Ravens find themselves in 11th out of 18 teams. 

Franklin Pierce posted a team score of 316 (+28) through 18 holes. Both Kesinee Prukmathakul (Bangkok, Thailand) and Phisonlaya Ruayruen (Chiangmai, Thailand) led the Ravens with a 77 (+5), highlighted by a steady front-nine from Prukmathakul with a score of 39 that included a birdie, and a steady back-nine from Ruayruen with a score of 37 that included two birdies. They both currently sit in the top 25 individually. 

Lorelai Flanagan (Arlington, Mass.) carded a round of 80 (+8) matching her score from yesterday, showing strong play on the back nine to keep the Ravens in the hunt. Beatrice Dietz also matched her score from yesterday with an 82 (+10), tallying three birdies in the back-nine that kept her close. 

Now, with 36 holes in the books, the Ravens look to make their final push. Teams that finish in the top five will punch their ticket to the NCAA Division II National Championship which will be hosted in Las Vegas, Nev. at Boulder Creek Golf Course. For updated results, click here.
