Ravens Compete in Split Squad Meets at CCSU and UMass Amherst

RINDGE, N.H. (April 25, 2025) – The Franklin Pierce track and field teams divided their efforts on Friday, sending field athletes to Central Connecticut State University and track competitors to UMass Amherst.

Men's Results

In Connecticut, Ben Gilbert and Sproul Derolus led the way in the shot put, finishing fourth and fifth, respectively, with throws of 14.22m and 14.15m.

Derolus also turned in a solid performance in the discus, recording a mark of 44.67m to take fifth.

Evan Moore picked up a pair of team points with a 10th-place finish in the javelin thanks to a throw of 31.85m.

In the pole vault, Travis Martins secured a third-place finish by clearing 4.00m.

The men also found success in the long jump, where Zaire Rosa placed third with a leap of 6.78m, and Owen Stevens followed close behind in fourth at 6.62m.

At UMass, the men's 4x100m relay team of Nathan Donahue, Darren Romani, Bryce Dragsbaek, and Stephen Harris finished third out of six teams, crossing the line in 42.16 seconds.

In the 1500 meters, Ryan Outbridge delivered one of the day's top performances by running a 3:52, the second-fastest time in the NE10 this season, to finish fourth overall.

Women's Results

On the women's side, Jennifer Kulick earned a win in the high jump at Central Connecticut with a mark of 1.50m, while Elizabeth Jones cleared 2.60m in the pole vault to finish fourth.

The women's 4x100m relay team continued their upward trend at UMass, as Abigail Jacobson, Sidney Chapman, Briahna Bouchard, and Issys Price broke their own school record for the second week in a row. The quartet clocked in at 47.99 seconds, placing third overall.

UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The Ravens will now turn their attention to the Northeast-10 Conference Championships, set for next Friday and Saturday at Southern New Hampshire University.
