RINDGE, N.H. (4/19/25) - The Franklin Pierce men's and women's track field teams had individuals at both the UConn Northeast Challenge and MIT's Sean Collier Invitational over the past two days.
MEN'S RESULTS:
On Friday, at the Sean Collier Invitational, Ryan Outerbridge finished third in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 9:23.53.
On Saturday, Outerbridge finished third overall in the men's 1500 m run with a time of 3:58.60.
Ben Gilbert improved on his previous school record to finish first in the men's discus with a distance of 45.34m. Salvatore Lando finished third at 40.61m.
Jay Candelario finished second in the shot put with a throw of 13.53m. Gilbert also finished fifth (13.33m).
Lando finished second in the men's hammer throw with a distance of 45.15m.
At the UConn Northeast Challenge, Owen Stevens finished sixth amongst a competitive pool to PR with a distance of 1.90m in the high jump. Antonio Adams Delgado finished eighth with a season-best 1.90m.
At the Sean Collier Invitational on Saturday, Issys Price and Sidney Chapman finished fourth and fifth in the women's 100-meter dash.
Briahna Bouchard finished third in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.10 seconds.
Price won the long jump with a distance of 5.38m. In the triple jump, Bouchard finished fifth with a jump of 10.49m.
The women's 4x100 consisting of Bouchard, Chapman, Abigail Johnson and Price broke the school record that has stood since 2017 with a time of 48.40.
UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The men's and women's track and field team will be back in action for the CCSU Blue Devil Invite in New Britain, Connecticut.
