Franklin Pierce Track & Field Opens Outdoor Season at SNHU Spring Invitational

HOOKSETT, N.H. (3/28/25) – The Franklin Pierce outdoor track and field team opened their outdoor portion of their season at the SNHU Spring Invitational. The men's team finished fourth and the women's team finished eighth overall.

MEN'S RESULTS
Ryan Outerbridge broke the school record in the men's mile with a time of 4:19.64. He finished second overall. Sam Fortin finished fourth 10 seconds later with Angel Mendo Alonso right behind.

Outerbridge also won the 5000m run with a time of 15:07.27, leading the race by at least seven seconds.

Owen Stevens won the long jump with a mark of 6.88m. Zaire Rosa finished third (6.76m) and Antonio Adams Delgado was fifth (6.63m).

Salvatore Lando finished second in the discus throw with a distance of 41.81m. Ben Gilbert finished right behind in third (40.46m).

Lando also took fourth in the hammer throw with a distance of 43.61m.

Stephen Harris finished fourth in the 400 M run with a time of 50.03 seconds.

Mendo Alonso finished second in the men's 800-meter run with a time of 2:01.72.

Sam Patton finished fifth in the pole vault with a height of 2.90m.

Jay Candelario and Salvatore Lando finished second (13.88m) and third (13.87m) respectively in the men's shot put.

The men's 4x400 relay consisting of Logan Mihelich, Logan Morgan, Outerbridge and John Viens finished third out of six teams with a time of 3:46.63. 

WOMEN'S RESULTS
Emily Nhun claimed second in the women's discus throw with a distance of 33.21m. She also claimed second in the women's shot put with a throw of 10.94m.

Emma Crahan finished fourth in the shot put with a mark of 10.43m.

Julie Greene, Mackenzie Luth and Jennifer Kulick all tied for fourth in the high jump with a height of 1.46m.

Abigail Philibin took second in the women's hammer throw with a distance of 42.02m. Nhun finished fourth at 40.18m.

UP NEXT FOR THE RAVENS: The Ravens are back in action when they travel to the Jim Sheehan Invite at Fitchburg State University next Saturday.
