2025 HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
Dage Minors '17 – Men's Cross Country/Track & Field/Assistant Coach Â
A record-setting runner and one of the most accomplished student-athletes in Franklin Pierce history, Dage Minors competed for the Ravens from 2013–18 before returning as an assistant coach (2018-23). A six-time All-American and nine-time NCAA Championship qualifier, Minors is the only Raven to win both the NCAA East Region Indoor and Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year awards in the same season, a distinction achieved by just four male athletes nationally.Â
The 21-time Northeast 10 Champion and three-time USTFCCCA East Region Track Athlete of the Year set seven program records across the middle distances and relays. He was named Franklin Pierce's Walter Peterson Male Student-Athlete of the Year in 2016–17.Â
On the international stage, Minors has represented Bermuda at the Pan-American Games (6th place, 800m), the 2022 Commonwealth Games, and the World University Games. He earned a bronze medal at the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games and is Bermuda's national record holder in the indoor 1000m and outdoor mile (sub-4:00).Â
Lauren Miller '14 – Volleyball Â
One of the top defensive players in program history, libero Lauren Miller graduated as Franklin Pierce's all-time leader in service aces (175) and ranked second in career digs (1,784). She also finished among the program leaders in sets played.Â
Miller's single-season totals remain some of the best in Raven history, including 576 digs in 2012 (2nd all-time), 485 in 2013 (8th), and 455 in 2011 (9th). Her 51 service aces in 2012 still rank among the top five in program history.Â
Her accolades include Daktronics All-East Region First Team, AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention, and 2013 Northeast 10 Co-Libero of the Year. A four-time NE10 Libero of the Week and three-time Academic All-Conference honoree, Miller was also an NE10 All-Rookie selection in 2010. She helped lead the Ravens to the NCAA Championship East Regional during her career.Â
Angelika Johansson '10 – Women's SoccerÂ
A prolific scorer and three-time All-American, Angelika Johansson was one of the nation's most feared forwards during her career in Rindge.Â
Johansson made an immediate impact as a freshman in 2007, earning NE10 Freshman of the Year and All-American honors despite missing part of the season due to injury. She followed with a dominant 2008 campaign, leading all of Division II with 29 goals, capturing NE10 Player of the Year, East Region Player of the Year, and Academic All-America recognition. Throughout her career, Johansson tallied 57 goals and 15 assists for 129 points, recording multiple hat tricks and nine game-winning goals.Â
She was a key figure in Franklin Pierce's postseason runs, helping the team to an 18-5-1 record in 2009 while collecting additional All-America honors. Off the field, she excelled academically as a Gold Scholar on the NE10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.Â
After Franklin Pierce, Johansson completed her final seasons at the University of Connecticut while pursuing graduate studies in mathematics.Â
Eric Cavers '12 – Baseball Â
An explosive talent and one of the most dynamic players in program history, Eric Cavers burst onto the scene as a freshman in 2001–02, collecting multiple NCAA Freshman and Player of the Week honors. By his junior year, he was named NCAA Division II Player of the Year, Rawlings Small College Player of the Year, and a First Team All-American, leading the Ravens to national prominence.Â
Cavers was drafted in the 10th round of the 2004 MLB Draft by the Houston Astros, beginning a professional career that included stints with the Greenville Astros, Tri-City ValleyCats, and Lexington Legends, as well as independent ball with the Rockford RiverHawks. He later completed his degree in 2012.Â
A two-time All-American, College World Series All-Tournament Team selection, and team captain, Cavers now serves as an assistant coach at Saint Joseph's College in Maine.Â
David Chadbourne – Men's Basketball Head Coach (1999-2022)Â
A coaching legend at Franklin Pierce, David Chadbourne spent over two decades guiding the men's basketball program (1999–2023) after an earlier stint leading the women's program (1996–99). He amassed nearly 400 career wins, including 310 with the men's team.Â
Chadbourne led the Ravens to four NCAA Tournament appearances, including the 2013 East Regional Championship and the NCAA Elite Eight. His teams recorded three straight 20-win seasons (2011–14), captured the 2011–12 NE10 regular-season title, and earned him NE10 and NABC East Region Coach of the Year honors in 2012.Â
He mentored more than 30 All-Conference players, multiple All-Americans, and elevated Franklin Pierce into one of the NE10's top programs. Beyond basketball, Chadbourne also coached tennis, baseball, and softball during his tenure.Â
A standout player at Saint Joseph's College (Maine), where he still ranks among the program's all-time leaders in assists, Chadbourne was inducted into the St. Joseph's Athletics Hall of Fame in 2001. In 2025, he was named Little East Conference Coach of the Year while leading the University of Southern Maine women's basketball program.Â
